What an amazing idea, and I commend you all for coordinating this for him!
I would absolutely love to participate in something of this nature. For many of us, automobiles are not just a hobby, they are a major part of life.
Well done...

This was a really beautiful thing that you all did for this kid. I'm sure it absolutely made his day, and will be something he thinks about for a long time. It was also probably very special for his parents to see this kind of outpouring of love and care for their son.

I also saw this video a few days ago on Facebook. It was shared on the Bluegrass Bimmers Facebook page that a bunch of my friends are members on. I actually just got "accepted" today on it, but had been reading for about a week.

If you guys are local or in Kentucky I would love to participate in any upcoming events you have going on. There aren't enough activities for car guys here!

This is why I love America.
We love and share.
This love recipe only requires very small humble, care & time.

All cars are welcome - we have everything from F458 Italias, GTRs, Lambos, etc to lower end BMWs, Subarus, some vintage stuff, F bodies, even a airbagged big turbo PT Cruiser etc. The common denominator among us is that we all love cars and also like doing stuff for charity.

One of our members's friends noticed a 17-year old kid named Jason that sat at the end of his street everyday watching cars go by. Turns out that he has cerebral palsy and was a big car lover. After some discussion, the member and his friend decided to surprise Jason with his own private car show of our cars. They worked together with the local neighborhood to make sure he was out there on this particular day and even set up a police escort for all fifty-ish of us! I am in the black X1.

It was really rewarding to see the joy on Jason's face when he saw us all drive by. His parents and the neighborhood were incredibly gracious hosts, and provided drinks and snacks to everyone. Jason even got the chance to sit in several of the cars!

Anyway I figured this would bring a smile to many of your faces, and there are some cool cars in there (including a Phoenix Gold M4 with full carbon package). I am also sharing because for diseases like this, publicity is everything. I have members of my family who have similar diseases and I know all too well how getting funding is a challenge for diseases that are not in the limelight.

If you have the chance to do stuff like this, I highly recommend it.
