OEM M-performance spoiler?

Unboxed it yesterday and I stated that this spoiler is hollow and VERY VERY light and VERY VERY thin and fragile.

Almost that I don't want to install it with Betalink because of the pita when it break =/

Has anyone tried to fill the spoiler with foam or something? To increase the rigidy and durability of it?

I actually ran into the same dilemma/thought process that it seemed to flimsy... After contemplating it for awhile I decided to fill mine with some spray foam in a can. Be careful as it expands quickly and will want to go everywhere if you're not careful. If you decide to go that route just take your time. I did it and think it turned out well and it may have been overkill but I know I feel a little more secure in my own mind. Also, if you bought the 3m tape kit that BMW sells separately from the spoiler it will not be enough so make sure to get some more to be safe. Good luck!

I have a replica of the M Perf spoiler (same design with hollow inside) and it feels solid once installed.
