Chicago/Milwaukee area suspension question

Does anyone in the Chicago or Milwaukee area have a 335i xdrive on either a set of coilovers or springs with/without factory struts? I'm seriously considering putting something on my car, but I have never ridden in or seen another car with any kind of upgraded suspension and I'd like to see one prior to dropping $1000-$1500 to only regret it.

I'm smack dab in the middle of the two places right by Six Flags in Gurnee. If anyone would be willing to let me take a look at their car it would be much appreciated. I can look at pictures all day, read threads about people arguing over which one is better, but until I see/feel for myself I won't have any idea. The roads around here obviously suck bigtime so that worries me with coilovers but the drop on the xdrive with just springs isn't always very good.

I would highly suggest going with a full aftermarket setup. The reason I say that is the car feels totally different. If you have nothing going on August 30th I would recommend coming out to Big Meat. There will be plenty of cars with coilovers and springs.
