First Log with RB's&Inlets. Help

When I went out for my first test drive after installing Rb's and 2.5'' inlets, I was in map 5 with 91octane in the tank. Anytime I get into the throttle more then 60%-70% I would get thrown into map 4. Tried running a log in map 5 but couldn't obviously. Although from what I could read, I was making around 20psi+ which I assume was the obvious reason I'm getting put into map4.

This may be a very dumb question but is the reason I'm over boosting because I'm running Rb's and trying to run a non flashed regular Jb4 map 5?
The only reason I'm asking is because I'm throwing these codes as well:

2C9E Lambda probe heating behind Catalytic converter, input signal
2C24 Lambda proben in front of Catalytic converter muddled
29D1 Misfirings, Cylinder 5
29D0 Misfirings, Cylinder 4
29CC Misfirings, several cylinders
30FF Boost under target-- possible boost leak
00F1 No description found
2461 No description found

Yes my O2 sensors are in the correct holes and yes I moved around Coils and Plugs and the Misfire's stayed on cylinders 4 and 5.

As for the 30FF, this is the first time getting that code. I'm waiting on forged Dv's to show up, so I'm still using stock Dv's. If that doesn't fix the problem then I'll obviously have to follow protocol on finding a boost leak because all charge side couplers are fine and I just replaced VAC lines with the Rb's.

I've got what I need to do my BMS Backend Flash but I wanted to address this before I got carried away?

Disregard first pull. (Traction Control came on over bump)

How many miles on the plugs? A huge power adder like that should mean brand spanking new plugs and coils. But you're saying it's not following the coil, etc. so I'm not entirely sure.

You really need to install the backend ASAP. Because that could be the source of your problems. Enable all 6 cylinder logging as well.
Post this at N54Tech also.

Less then 2k on the plugs and I moved them around and no change so I'm assuming they aren't the problem.

I'll do the flash before I drive it again and hopefully that solves my problem.

Let's start fresh. Install the appropriate backend flash for your setup. But answer a few things below first.

Answer these:
JB4 Firmware Ver. -
All DUTY/AFR BIAS values are -
How are you using the JB4 Interface -
Make sure 1-2-3rd gear boost limitation is 0 (Unless you need limitation)
What is your software type (I8A0S, IJE0S, etc.)-
Can you access higher octane fuels -
Post a screenshot of your interface settings if possible.

PLEASE don't go WOT or anything until you get your tuning issues sorted man. You're playing with fire it seems. Checkout some links below. Check with Terry what setting you should use. I don't know off hand the proper settings for your setup, so I won't make many suggestions.

Lastest jb4 firmware
I set all AFR bias and duty cycle to 0
Via laptop? I'm assuming that's what you are asking
I have yet to adjust 1-2-3 gear limits but will do that now
IJE0S
My local fuel options are 91-92-95-100 and e85 I'm currently running 91 with 30% e85 mix. Running map2 on the BMS pump flash

Thanks for walking me through. Everything is running great right now and I'm about to go do some logs. All codes are gone as well.

Happy it's running well, but definitely get some logs posted.

IJE0S = A value of 5 in the interface where it says to enable 6 cylinder logging.

You need a custom tune if you're running RB's and inlets. That's my opinion.

Yeah from what I know, I'm running a very entry level setup for amount of boost that is. Fine with me though, I just beat a 1LE camaro that put down 460 to the wheels! I Should have a lot more power to tap when I'm ready.

+1 it's a fact you're going to need a custom tune to get the most out of your mods for the octane.

Yeah that seems like that's the best setup. I'm going to wait for my meth setup until I go in for the tune. I'm just trying to find the best option until then.

Nice! Same here. A friend of mine is also in south Lincoln with a 135i. If you're on Facebook, search the group NEN5X and it's a bunch of Lincoln and Omaha guys with N54's and other BMW's tgat meet up quite a bit.

Also if you're free tomorrow night at 6 pm there is a BMW/Porsche car show at Sonic at 48th and Old Cheney. Lot of other Euro cars too. Then us N54 guys are going up to Omaha to meet up with other group members and take some photos and possibly drive fast. You should join if you're free!
