I spoke with Terry and he said that in the bb backend pump flash it disables 30ff since jb4 handles boost. I was wondering if the same was true for mhd pump flash? Thanks.

Which pump flash are you referring to? MHD JB4 specific pump flash or MHD pump flash (stage 1, 2 etc)? If your talking about the JB4 specific MHD pump flash Terry tunes that so whatever he did for BB is probably the same. He said the latest BB flash and MHD JB4 backends are functionally the same in terms of tuning.
