Is this headlight tab important?

I was thinking of buying this headlight which is in good condition except for a broken tab. Does anyone know if this will cause mounting problems? Or should I just look for a better light to buy?

I believe there's 6 or so tabs so from my experience it'll hold just fine.

BMW sells tab repair kits.

It should be ok but the headlight may shake when you are driving.
