It's as easy as turning in a light bulb and plugging it in, on paper at least. I've done quite a few installs on my own vehicle and some locally, so it only takes me a few minutes now but I remember some frustrating moments years ago. |

Hi, I understand they have a fan, but since they are $80W each, I was wondering if there are any issues with overheating the headlight lens?
Thx |

80W is the equavalent output compared to a halogen, not the actual wattage pulled. Remember, these are LED's; They require considerably less wattage to make the same output as a typical halogen/incandescent bulb. |

I got a pair of the 80W just this week, but am still trying to find an installation video or instructions online without much success! I wish the seller would include a link or an installation brochure.
So, if anyone can post a link or equivalent, or PM it to me, that'd be great! Btw, mine is a 2009 E90 LCI with factory xenon headlights. Please hurry, as I can't wait to install them! |

No new pics. The outer ring is kinda invisible until it gets darker outside (sunset)

The outer ring can be seen if the lights are viewed head on at the same level of the headlight and about 30 feet away.
Just like the factory bulbs, they can't be viewed off angle or from too high above. This is a flaw in the BMW headlights itself, not the plug and play bulbs. If you want full outer ring visibility, you need to go custom. |

Does the factory output LED interior kit include every light (trunk, foot well, glove box) etc? I'm looking to purchase both tomorrow.

I think so, double check though. Look at the E90 M3 parts and you'll find the LED interior kit there. I ordered mine last weekend and seem to remember reading that it included everything including trunk and glove box.

With that being said... We found that using one of those mechanics reacher things helped us to maneuver the bulb into the housing at an angle that allowed the led portion to insert into its hole. Once in be careful to know exactly how the upside down "T" should sit in order to lock the bulbs in place or else you'll spend a long time spinning and twisting and only getting one or two of the tabs in place. The first bulb took a long to to get but once we got the hang of it the second one took maybe five minutes. As for the interior LED kit... Great product so far. Easy to install and light output is nice and white and not too bright, which is just what I was looking for. All in all a great buy and solid product. Shipping was fast with email updates too.

We are really pleased with the Factory output led interior kit. There was a time when the community was focused on high output and maximum brightness. We luckily saw that trend changing where people just wanted a simple upgrade over stock. I'm glad we were able to work with HPB to come up with the appropriate kit to fill that gap. |
