Up for sale is a Blendmount radar detector mount, compatible with both Valentine 1 and Escort (excluding Max) radar detectors.

This is, in my opinion, hands down one of the cleanest and most secure approaches to mounting a radar detector in your E9x.

This mount was used on a 2009 BMW 335i XDrive Coupe (with both the red clown nose and buttons for Homelink), so please check your mirror on Blendmount's website to make sure that this mount is compatible with your mirror.
