Slow puncture - is it to close to the sidewall

Looks like previous repair plug has started to leak slowly. My question is. Is it to close to the sidewall for a normal puncture reair?

Probably too close for a normal plug - but don't be put off. Ask your tyre place to send it away for a vulcanized repair. They rarely offer this because they want to say 'irreparable - buy a new tyre'.

To close for sure IMO we certainly wouldn't entertain it, if it's a run flat tyre shouldn't if been repaired(technically)in the first place, also notice which is typical of the breed sadly that the inner tread is scrubbed and also you've feathered the inner edge of the tyre as well, I can see a ridge on the tread block inner edge(step)that again isn't unusual.

Would you feel safe with that tyre repaired?

Thanks for the reply Steve, I'll get them both replaced - wanted to size up to 265/30/19 anyway. Is there anything that can be done about the feathered inner edge. The previous set (run flats) did the same, the rest of the tyre was over 4mm
