Could someone tell me which aps they use to monitor which parameters? And which ti log with/to create charts?
I purchased carly /bmwhat but it doesnt log in excel.spreadaheet so I have to screw arond with excel to make a graph of the values it emails me... Will the bmwhat obd to bluetooth adapter work with other apps? I read.Torque a few times but not 100% sure which one it is In the app store. |

Check TestO - it's free. Here's a link for the standalone version that runs without INPA/Ediabas installation.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=287 To get full power for logging check custom jobs. You can find them from the menu: Debug->Custom jobs you can define your own logging sets. Here's some videos about that. |

Torque Pro works perfectly well with the BMWhat OBD BT dongle. I much prefer the Torque Parameter Display so I use Torque daily. I use Carly when I want to see some of the DPF statistics that are not available in Torque, for coding and to get the BMW-specific SES Code descriptions (you can also reset individual SES Codes in Carly while Torque I believe resets them all).

DWR, I occasionally look at the distance from last Regen just to get a sense of when the next Regen will happen. I try to track the frequency/miles between Regen but occasionally I don't have Torque or Carly running and my wife even sometimes drives my car . I have been meaning to track the accumulated soot but my understanding was that none of those DPF related PIDs were available in Torque. Since I don't run Carly daily, I have not gotten around to tracking the soot.
I am using your custom PIDs and I really appreciate your sharing those with the forum. |

well, I bought my self the Torque app, and i like it a lot. It has things that carly doesn't.
Is DWR the author/programmer of Torque?? I just wish I could plot more than 1 sensor in a Line Chart. Does anyone know how to export the line chart / logs to text/excel spreadsheet/anything? |

Torque saves a .csv file on your phone for each logging session, look for a "TorqueLogs" directory.
I don't think DWR is the author of Torque (I guess anything is possible) but I know him to be an excellent contributor to this forum. He has shared some custom PIDs for Torque that you may be interested in. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=torque+pids Quote:
