New climate control panel -- need to know it's in a Convertible?
Installed a new auto climate control panel in my 2009 E93 M3 (convertible) with Idrive (CIC).
All functions fine but 1 difference. There was previously something called "Cabriolet Mode" or "Convertible Mode". Some fancy way of regulating airflow to get the most bang when top is down (ish). When the top is down or put down, Idrive screen used to say "Convertible Mode Auto" when climate panel in "Auto". W/ new panel, it doesn't do that. Dooes this mean I need to have the new part updated to tell it that its installed in an E93? (climate panel is the same part number for a coupe, sedan or convertible) Last edited by NashvegasR; 08-17-2015 at 10:24 PM.. |
