irregular performance
About a month ago my car seemed to not have as much get up and go, it just seemed more sluggish than when I bought it a year ago. I went on vacation for a week so my car wasnt being driven during that time. I drove it when I came back and it had that power once again. It has began to be sluggish a few times in the last few weeks.
There are no codes thrown and it doesnt feel like there is a severe turbo issue. I replaced plugs about 2000 miles back. Dirty Injectors? Dirty valves? Please send me your thoughts, thanks |

Maybe you've just gotten used to the power?
Check for hidden codes.

It sounds like you got used to the power, really.
I'm assuming it's also been warmer in your area the last few weeks compared to earlier in the season, that would also affect performance. If you don't have an aftermarket intercooler, that would be the next mod to get. Heat soak is a big power killer. Since you have a Cobb, you can datalog and check the performance of the vehicle. You'll likely notice elevated intake air temps from using a stock intercooler. |

Post some logs so we can be of better assistance.
You are probably using power because you need a better intercooler

Thanks for the tips. I am a super novice when it comes to running data logs with my cobb but I will give it a try and see what I can find.
I already know I need a FMIC to help with cooling and possibly need to take off the intake manifold to see how clogged up my valves are (I dont know if they have ever been cleaned). I just this change in performance hope its not a sign of anything major going on... |

When doing logs, turn traction control completely off, put car in third gear and push 100% on the gas pedal from 2500 rpm to redline. Make sure you do the pulls somewhere safe.
