Can anyone recommend a good gasket sealant?

I'm getting the valve cover replaced along with the gasket of course. On RB's website, it says to use a sealant whenever you have your valve open. Can anyone confirm this and recommend a good sealer?

Thanks

Yeah bro, right here:

"The solution will only fix the OEM PCV valve itself and not a leaky valve cover gasket, which is also a very common problem on the N54 Engine. We do recommend if EVER pulling off the valve cover to always replace the OEM gasket with a new one and use a light amount of high quality sealant around these pressurization ports that are fed through each intake port."

I used Hondabond HT when changing out my valve cover. Worked great! Highly recommended.

Any good silicon sealant should work. This is the first I've heard of using sealant for the valve cover gasket.

Does he mean to put it around the whole valve cover along the gasket seam?
