325i performance exhaust for a 330i
There's a performance exhaust in the classified's I've got my eye on, but I'm not sure if it'll be the right one.
The N53 325/330i's both have different part numbers against the performance exhaust, although I'm not sure what the difference is as they're a similar/same engine? More flow rate through the 330i part? Does anyone know if I would get away with buying the 325i PE for my 330? Can't seem to find anything on google. Cheers! |

325 version doesn't have the vacuum operated flap on one of the tailpipes, that's all. It will fit fine and you can do the 'golf tee' mod to close off the vacuum pipe. I've been running a 325 PE on my 330i e91 for the last six months - go for it!

Is that the flap that makes it quieter when not on the throttle? So if I do the golf tee mod it'll sound exactly the same as the 330i PE, just not have the capability of being quieter when not on the power? If so that's fine by me! Cheers

Yes, it's a bit louder on startup and whenever else the 330i normally shuts the RH pipe.
