We offer a very similar system http://www.viezu.com/v-switch
and have done so for some time, they all work in much he same way the units are bought(usually from places in Germany as they sell the actual units for a very reasonable sum)from there you have the desired map data loaded and then you're away.

Its suitable for one car one car only, once you sell your current car you can if you wish have your current car put back to OEM spec and for a small fee once your new car has been purchased have the box set up for your latest car, many customers prefer this method as its quick hassle free and offers more flexibility than a re map, but in principal all these units are very similar, the one thing I'd say is Thorney have been doing certain things for years therefore software wise they'd be a certain something different within perhaps that may well be ohh so slightly different from some others perhaps .

The maps won't be generic, the units can be purchased blind and maps are added to them, Thorneys as they do what they do will I strongly suspect cater for this sort of thing 100% in house.

As for "we" forum rules, check my profileas for who supplies us again in the link. Power wise 25-30bhp easily achievable, difference to s degree will lie in amongst other things the torque layout programmed
