Those folks with jet black E92s and matching black grilles

Those of you with matte black grilles on your JB coupes, how closely does your grille color match the JB exterior color? I'm sure it depends on the make of the grille however, I was curious as to any contrast, etc. I want black grilles but I think I want them to match as closely to the JB exterior color as possible. Of course I could always paint them.

Your thoughts fellow Bimmerites?

the glossy painted grille might match better. PM "khuuster". he has the glossy ones. maybe he can take a quick picture for you.

I have matte black on JB..looks great, but it definitely doesnt match..the glossy would be closer..my suggestion..buy the matte and paint it JB.

Better yet... Get them unpainted if you can... and pay to have them painted OEM Jet Black... Of course you would want to paint the lower grills Jet Black too...

Thanks folks, very helpful. I don't mind a little contrast so perhaps the glossy would be better or like suggested, buy unpainted and paint them oem jb.
