New BMW USA website interface

As of today, there is a new website interface for BMW USA, and looks a lot like its european courterparts now. I like it!

The 128i and 135i are now live (the M3 and the 135i coupe still under future cars). The X6 is not yet on the site at all.

I like their series "slogans" (was that part of the old website also?)

1 - Handsome looks with sporting intentions.
3 - Pure joy. Measured in smiles per hour.
5 - Settle for more.
6 - Live vicariously through no one.

X5 - Jack-of-all-trades. Master-of-all-roads.

meh. well, at least it's finally more safari-friendly. we'll have to see once build-your-own comes back because it never worked in safari.

I was going through it again, and I don't like the lack of a preview when scrolling over individual models. As a whole it's a little better.

Btw, someone noted something interesting: Apparently the e90/e92 335i's come with shadowline now? Wtf? So unfair...

"Build Your Own" is now working - it's very cool (for example 3D rotation) but it's very slow.

Also, is it just me, or is it noticeably slower now?

... I however do like how its more visually aligned with the other sites from around the world though.

Excuse my ignorance - what's shadowline??

Shadowline is the trim around the windows that isn't chromed like it is now on the 335i's.

BYO is the slowest thing ever...
