Should this be covered?

I just bought the tire less than 2 months ago and have a bubble near the tire bead. Online store are saying it's due to an impact and isn't covered. I found it to be pretty lame, because:
1. The roads here aren't perfect, but I never hit a pothole worth noticing.
2. Never rubbed the sidewalk near where the bubble is.
3. I had hit worst potholes that caused my previous wheels to crack and the old Pirelli has no issues.

Should I claim the manufacturer? The tires are pretty expensive, they are Michelin PSS. I was expecting at least same quality and durability as the Pirelli not some Chinese brand at quarter of the price... Pretty disappointing. I already bought replacement.

I don't think that's covered unless you opted for the road hazard insurance.

For only less then 2 month I think it should be a manufacture defect. I wouldn't mention an impact.

Road hazard. Unless it was visible when installed you don't have a chance.
I always buy road hazard.

Retailers used to have road hazard here, but they mostly all dropped it. So I dont have road hazard.
But we have a provincial (state) law here called legal warranty not sure if applicable, it guarranties customers can enjoy and use the product for at least the expected usage time. We'll see, otherwise, I'm out 300$

Michelin might cover it:

Call them and find out. They'll be more help than anyone here.

I did contact them by email to have everything written instead of a verbal "oh no we never said that". Reply is 3-5 business days though.
