Need Some Help After Parking Sensor Nightmare
OK so long story short I ordered the below after market paring sensors after a few recommendations on another forum
http://www.steel-mate.co.uk/acatalog...295.html#SID=7 I also ordered them colour coded so they would look OEM, well the Auto electrician who was fitting them has made a right mess of it & in short has cut the holes in the bumper too big & by the looks of it trashed the kit, this has resulted in me having to source a new rear bumper & having it painted to match So not sure what to do now as I am in the process of getting the bumper sorted but would still like parking sensors where do I go from here? Is there anyone out there that could retrofit OEM ones to my car?? Do I see if the kit is salvageable & try again with that?? |

all the brackets that hold the sensors to the bumper are snapped & one f the sensor heads are ruined, apparently you can't get replacement parts so will need a new kit

Are you sure he was an Auto Electrician & not a butcher, has be compensated you for the mess he's made & the money he's cost? I don't think you have any choice but to start again with new parts.
There are plenty of people on the forum who could do the job for you but where you're located is fairly relevant. |

I am waiting on a phone call but I said I want a new Genuine bumper & it sprayed, wishing I had specified it needed to be painted by BMW
He got a bit snotty when I suggested he replaced the sensor kit also |
