Speedo off. Reading low not high

Recently had my speedo LEDs changed to white. Upon refitting them my speedo needle and my fuel gauge needle are off. My speedo is reading 4mph slow. Ie speedo saying 30 but doing 34 and my tank is about full but the needle is past full. Is it as simple as taking it apart n adjusting the needles? Any help appreciated

Posted down to Marius I'm sure his name is. He said it was positioned the same as where it came off but I want it adjusted a bit

Ive had the same thing but only with the speedo. I haven't got round to it yet but I am going to try adjusting the needle.

Ive done it myself before and took me a while to get the needles right.

I thought i had it right till i stuck the cable in the back of the speedo and the needles went everywhere and kept moving which was cause i put them down too hard.

Take them off and gently slide them on and put them in correct position

Yep, key is to take your time. I've done a few speedo retrofits recently and it can be a little fiddly to start with.

Remove the casing then just pop the needles off. They maybe pushed down too far as suggested, some require quite a bit of force.

Put a piece of paper / thin card next to the needle stem then use a flat blunt knife or other blade to leaver it off. The needle will likely ping off so keep your other hand over it.

Then just reinstall the needle. Place it on the pivot gently so it's pointing to the home position then push it down (not too hard) so it clips onto the pivot. This may take some trial and error.
