grinding the rear bumper?
i got a new exhaust and it's touching the bumper. it would vibrate on idle sometimes. i wanted to know if there's any easy fix for it. Can i grind down the bumper little bit? would it damage(crack) the paint?

I would get some extended rubber exhaust hangers instead of cutting up the bumper.

Only thing you need to do is remove the metal bracket that the rubber hanger attaches to. Is fasten with one bolt onto the car chassis. Place couple of washers and re-install.

Agreed with others, it's not installed correctly. Maybe take it back to the shop to get it fixed. I mean this is hard to screw up if the shop is competent. Or maybe take it to another shop with a good reputation.
