also, is the alpina flash only a TCU flash or can it affect other engine components as well? Just wondering since this is such a rare situation, that once I flashed this I soon after got tons of smoke and a bunch of errors...

In the "how to" it said that it should say "ECU can be coded 63 more times" but when I did it, it said "ECU can be coded 62" more times, does this mean someones done that code to my car before..??
Also, if I did it again as good measure, would it mess anything up..?? Lastly, should I reset TCU adaptations after doing that flash..?? Thank u!

If you are worried it being the flash you can just flash back to stock and remove the alpina flash. |

"Anyone that wants to go back to stock software for whatever reason, its really simple to do... Follow the same procedure and choose 7601492 as the ZB number instead of the 7615835 (alpina software zb number). " http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=874072 |

I would not flash it with the alpina again I would try to go back to stock and see if flashing in the first place caused those issues. No problem. |
