Should I go for 335i Msport or the xi...

...I am struggling between the two.
Biggest concern are the 19" wheels with RF standard on the i while the xi gets the 18" hence in theory should be slightly better in terms of comfort.
Any inside view is appreciated.

Honestly, the difference between 18" and 19" wheels on runflats is negligible in terms of ride quality. The sidewalls are so stiff anyway, there isn't going to be much compliance whichever size it is. If you really want more ride comfort, then change the tyres for non-runflats.

Surely the decision on whether it should be the 2wd or the Xi should be made on whether or not you need the extra traction and grip afforded by the 4wd system, and not the size of wheel?!

Is this based on your direct experience?

In my case the difference of price is negligible and I might see snow max 5 days a year... so xi is no necessary in this respect.
I am looking more to the dynamic differences in terms of drive and I suspect that xi with the 40-60 traction plus the extra weight may cut a significant piece of the "joy of driving".

AFAIK the Xi is only for left hookers - too expensive to convert to RHD.
