Vibration when braking? Help needed!
Purchased my 330D recently and it had a vibration when braking, after research I discovered it was from the rear (vibration in seat as opposed to steering wheel), changed rear pads and rotors problem solved (so I thought), the problem slowly began to come back after 1-2000 miles, now I noticed the spacers installed on the rear were damaged, the hubcentric ring had a piece broken on one side, so just replaced them today with new ones. The vibration is still there and wondering what the problem could be bushes? Calipers? or was the spacer the problem but the damage is already done to the new rotors and they need to be replaced again?
Any help appreciated |

Could be calipers, controls arms, or a lot more things honestly.

Could be as simple as brake pad material building up on your rotors. Go out and do five or six max breaking events from about 60mph to 20mph and see if that helps. Try not to trigger ABS. Free and fun!

I've just purchased a full 335i/d brake setup (calipers, rotors, carriers, pads etc.) and will be fitting to see if it solves the problem I got the set at an absolute steal of $70 dollars for full front and rear set up, so at that price it was well worth it ![]() |

I've fitted the 335 set up yesterday and as expected the vibration has disappeared just like when I replaced the rear rotors, only time till tell if the vibration stays away, will update in a 1000 or so miles
