according to burger Map 0: JB4 disabled.

from the wheel guide.
but yes...this is the part that allows you to use the obd port for dealer service, etc.

if you want stock map...then 4 is stock....but jb4 is enabled.

Get the GFB DV+ as it will help you hold boost better. Its not very expensive and a fairly easy install.

I've switched from JB4 to a custom map from PTF that is loaded using a Cobb AP. If you have a modded car, a custom map is a great way to get the most out of your mods.

Map0 disables the JB4 performance aspect and disables the OBD aspect as well.

so if the OBD aspect is disabled as well, you cannot access the OBD without completely removing the JB4?

You need to log. There are many things that can cause it to not feel fast . Your IATs can be really high, your low or high pressure fuel can be on its way out, your average ignition could be over 1.5 limiting boost, your plugs could be worn or coils and your cylinder timing could be pulling back drastically, or you have a boost leak and your PWM is maxed out.
You won't know until you log.
Don't keep changing maps after doing your 3 ,3rd gear pulls for auto tuning.
If you do change maps then it won't feel as strong.

Map 0 enables access to the OBD.

And u will get no support on the Cobb. Good luck with this if you run into issues

But as others said do a log and it will show alot.

I tried JB4 because of all the hype and wasn't impressed. The gauge stuff is cool but performance was not up to snuff. Even with backend flashes. I'm happily back with MHD and love it. So much more stable.

How so? Cobb has excellent support and they are extremely responsive when it comes to issues. They will review logs for free and so will PTF.

Are there firmware updates outside of the ISO mod?

Its quite amazing what a difference the DV+ makes. The car just seems so much more responsive. For $135, the GFB DV+ is a non brainer. Several forum sponsors carry it so just support a sponsor.

Indeed, only thing holding back a few customers we encountered was the install. It wasn't the easiest to install due to it's location but at the end of the day it's worth it.
