Radio / Audio is GREY'd Out..
I recently purchased a used e90 m3 off auction.. the previous owner, removed the logic 7 amplifier out of the car. I have no audio coming out of the speakers.... DUHH.. but i dont have an option to switch between AM/FM Radio or Aux or Bluetooth. Only CD / DVD options are selectable.
AUX, Radio FM / AM are Grey'ed out and unresponsive when selected... would the logic 7 amp be the reason for this? or is there another module which controls it.. |

No amplifier = no audio
No amplifier = no audio why would you expect anything different.
Since the Most Bus is used for both audio and other digital communication a host of other problems could pop up. Bluetooth is on another module in cars before 2010. Most bus modules are the Radio or idrive , TCU bluetooth, BMW SOS, ipod, and PDC may be effected since it works through the Radio or idrive and amp. Read about the Most bus in the first electrical pdf. Also you didn't specify if this has idrive/nav or pro radio . There is what is called a most jumper you might insert in the amp position to see if it makes a difference. When the amps go bad people have mostly reported just no sound. Last edited by ctuna; 09-17-2015 at 04:05 AM.. |
