Coilovers vs Sport Springs and Shocks vs regular Replacemednt
I have the base model 2007 328xi. I need to replace the rear shocks.
What I am wondering is if it's worth it to just get sport spings like here: http://************/o75b77k And also some sport shocks. Is that sort of the same as what I ahve now but will make the car lower and handle better? Or do I get coilovers... or is it only the coilovers that can lower the car and make it handle better? Thanks a lot. Some say there is stress on the front axle if you lower the car but can an expert confirm this? Thanks |

Nope, but 16'' wheels will look minuscule when lowered. You'll also need huge spacers. |
