Is it true that the E46 3-series shares the same coils as the 335i?
I was looking up coils and ran into this conundrum. Can it be true that the E46 3-series shares the same coils as the E92 335i? One is a turbo car (obviously) while the other is not.
I would appreciate any insight. Thanks

Thanks.
Can I get another confirmation please? I've done the research and the part numbers are used interchangeable on some web sites but I need the experts to definitively chime in. On a side note, do you guys keep a couple of these handy just in case? It would seem like a good idea at only $29 each. Thanks

I am not sure if they can be used interchangeably, but BMW lists 2 different part numbers, correct BMW part is only like 10 or 15 bucks more, so I would just go with the known correct part.
