Question on extended paddles by haus

I would like to get haus extended paddles, however, my fear is that they're made of aluminum and I wonder how scolding hot they may get in the summer and freezing in the winter.

Does anyone have opinions on this? I had a metal shift knob back in the days of my 370z and I had to remove it in the summer because I couldn't touch it it was scolding. I just don't know if my old knob was AL.

I have aluminum ones just raw aluminum, not black, but no issues with heat, I think they don't get any direct sun as they are shaded by the cluster hood.
