335i PE exhuast mod in Sydney

For those of you that are familiar with the PE exhaust mod (replacing the perforated pipes in the OEM mufflers and replacing them with straight pipe) could anyone recommend anyone in Sydney to do it Locally? Want a little more exhaust noise

The drone is so overstated, its so minimal, sounds ever so slightly louder than stock with windows up, sports car afterall.

Nah still got kitties, but was looking forward to catless dps because of the rasp with catless, which not many people like. I actually would love some rasp, it was the best thing about the e46m3 and id love it out of this engine.

I have catless pipes and BMW PE exhaust, Sounds ridiculous on start up, shakes all my walls in the garage, but then settles down nicely once warmed up. Slight drone at a certain rpm but not bad at all, not like everyone makes out

So north mead exhaust won't touch it. Has done one with an m3 and said never again. But I've found a guy in Hornsby who will take a look. They charge $100ph so it shouldn't cost anymore than $3-400 if I take the mufflers in myself.

Do some of the work yourself, remove the mufflers and cut them open at least

I'm now thinking about going another route. Contemplating going straight pipes with cyber tips using 2x 14" Aussie made Berkeley resonators in place of the stock mufflers. Shouldn't be as loud as full straight pipes, not as much resonation and sound really aggressive.

Garage List
ASPS91 is that illegal? Serious question, I'd like to know...

How far can we go with noise and exhaust modifications before its illegally load and the exhaust is missing too many components to pass inspection?

My exhuast is already illegal. No cats whatsoever. The was I see it we drive euro cars which don't get as much attention from the cops as jap cars. That being said I daily drove single turbo r33 gtr with 3.5 inch straight through exhuast around for over a year with no issues.

Thats probably the best option to be honest. It will be free flowing, the resonators will help with the drone, will be very cost effective compared to buying an axle back exhaust, and will also save weight!
Its a win win if you want to go that option

Yea, that's what I'm thinking too. The U.S. Guys seem to be using vibrant resonators. But we also have a lot of quality Australian made items available to us at lower prices.

My exhuast flapper is also starting to rattle a bit which seems to be quite common.... So this will kill 2x birds with one stone I guess.
