OK guys what are you using for wheel bolts or are you using a stud conversion?

Since I wont be using my spacers anymore, I'm looking at going with a wheel stud kit.

In the past I've used rays/volk wheel nuts (loved them!) and mcgard security nuts (loved them also, very high quality and the seat of the nut rotates so it doesn't grind into the paint finish where it seats against the rim)

How do you work out what size lug nuts you need DrJ? Why not just use the OEM and lock nut?

I extended to 82mm with lugs and also got matching lock nuts for safety (they're not shown in this picture)

Thanks Ian, what studs did you use?

I guess it depends on the studs you use, and aesthetics (if you want the nu to be flush with the end of the stud, or shorter so a section of the stud protrudes) OEM bolts are looking a tad crummy, and I havent checked but running a 10" rear rim may have a thicker hub thus less of the bolt is torquing up into the wheel hub if you get what I mean?

Should we organise a group buy for this from the said vendor? I would be in for it. Coincidentally I just posted a question about steel vs titanium studs in the wheel/brake section
