Was installing the cobb AP and the whole car shortcircuited
This happened a while ago. I was installing my Cobb AP and my whole car short circuited, I could not use anything battery powered in the car. The windows were stuck, the locks did not work, the mirrors, etc. I got it towed to the dealer and they replaced the battery and all was well.
Now I'm considering getting it tuned again but I am worried this will happen again. What went wrong? Did I apply the wrong map? Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks |

Glad they replaced the battery, instead of charging it. BMW profits again, and you lost.
Get a battery charger like everyone said. Tuning 101. |

First Cobb install takes 30 minutes , the rest less than 5

Did you not answer the question for everyone? If you do the initial flash, you hook it up to a battery charger. Plain and simple. Switching maps is a different story.
