Lol I wouldnt man, there would be a fair few hrs labour in it!
I would definately advise doing these in conjunction at the time of turbo replacements, the gains if any wouldn't make it worthwhile really to do it post turbo upgrade imo... Might as well get the RB drain valves also ![]() |

Have to say Im still confused about cutting out the dents and welding up the stock pipe (as per the Advan link) and the RB HSCP? I assume if you get the RB HSCP then there is no need to do an Advan on the stock pipes? Yes Heathy pointed out the new drain valves, but they are still in dev as well ![]() |

the RB upgrade does not address the crash clearance relief points manufactured into the OEM RHD pipe, the LHD pipe pre-silicone coupler is significantly different in design and airflow potential. By far the biggest problem with the RHD pipe is the excessive relief provided for the steering shaft and to a lesser extent the rear turbofold. I am in the process of fabricating a completely new pipe that will be RHD compatible, that will be maximised for airflow whilst retaining V-band clamp OEM fitment at the compressor discharge outlet of each turbo. |

Cheers JD aiming to have my RB turbos and VTT inlets in 5 to 6 weeks time. Will your new pipes be ready in time?

I often wonder if we all should have just bought R35 GTR's, and with next to no mods run 10's with crazy handling and 4wd! ?????
I do love tinkering on the Bmw though lol AMS daily driver

Justin, if you are indeed developing a solution - might be a good idea to share some detail here as it looks like many members are looking at RB or VTT ones right now.
