94% on 100 octane data log (6AT)
first of all, i will start by saying that this is my first time data logging and that my knowledge with turbo cars isn't that great.... especially compared to some of the geniuses on this board.
all i wanna know is if the psi seems low for being on 100 octane at 94%? or is it about right? thought it would be higher.... unfortunately i didnt get to push it a lot. pushed it at every chance i got when the road was wide open and no cars around. other mods besides V2 are UR catless downpipes, BMC filter, and eisenmann race section 3 |

WTF were you doing to get it to spike to 7k like that...does you have an auto?

Yeah, maybe but it would just spin real bad and not load up the engine correctly...also he's tooling along at nearly 3k rpm as well. Not saying thats the case, but it would be an extremely wrong way to test boost level Its also possible that the X scaling is making the data look like spikes rather than the usual ramp ups seen.

He seems like its not a gradual exceleration to redline..You need to start around 2500 rpms in M3 and floor the car till it get close to redline and shift to M4 to get a accurate reading of the peak spike

you reallllly need to zoom in on those boost readings so we can see them, that graph is not giving us anything but vertical lines.

+1 Use the left & right arrow keys to move the marker then the up and down arrow keys to zoom in/out on the marker.
Then click on the map and hit P, reset the min scale to 0, and check the auto scale box. That ought to produce a readable graph. |

The best way to zoom in on a certain area is to right click and hold it down to the left of the area that you want to zoom in on, drag to the right and release where you want the right most area of your zoom location to be.
this will produce broken "dotted" lines on both sides of your boost area. The hit the "+" magnifying glass on the top of the datalogging program. You will not have a perfectly zoomed picture of your boost logs. Using the up and down area to zoom only zoom's in or out in pre-determined intervals, not as precise.

That does look good, looks like you should do a few more pulls and then if you are still in the sub 14 psi range at 5500rpms in 3rd bump up your tq values by 2% and retest for at least 50 miles.

Also try setting your max value on your graph to 20 and your min to 0, it will produce a cleaner looking graph w/ intervals of 2psi on the horizontal axis.
