terrible bluetooth connection

this is somewhat of a shot in the dark before i attempt to buy random pieces to sort this out....

2010 with nav. bluetooth phone only. all factory components nothing retrofitted

sometimes my phone finds the car's bluetooth, sometimes it doesnt... when it does, calls always sound terrible, i cant ever understand anyone so i always disconnect it. assuming a bluetooth module is fried er something? where would i start? anyone have a part number or know where i can find the module to replace it?

My wife has a similar problem. Have you tried another phone? In my case the Samsung S5 sounds unintelligible in my wife's car, but all the other phones owned in our household all connect and sound perfect. I even had my wife's phone reflashed to a updated version of Android, with no luck. Keep me posted if you find a solution, but try another phone first.
