Op: Do you know anyone else who has dyno'd a 335 on the particular dyno? Were their numbers similar to yours? |

looking at my base dyno it is sae .94 just like my exhaust. it could really possibly be the vacuum line not being really sealed at the time. like the guy said, he lost 15rwtq which is somewhat similar to what im experiencing.
i did only have 30 miles of gas in my tank on my exhaust dyno if that makes a difference compared to half a tank on my base... |

I agree, the number of 277whp looks good for baseline on the DynoJet, but I guarantee, putting that SS exhaust on, which eliminates the secondary cats, will give you a gain between 10 and 15whp. We are talking about a turbo car … you reduce back pressure and you will see a nice gain to the wheels.

thanks i am planning on going today. but i have a question for you guys. i gave it much thought and if i still get low numbers can it be from any of these below? if not what can it seriously be?
1. air filter: never changed from beginning and now at 22k miles. my stock dyno was done at 21k miles, so i highly don't think that will be the problem. 2. oil change: last oil change was 5k miles ago. i plan on doing one after this dyno run or until i figure out the exhaust problem. PS: do we need to change the cabin filter every 10k miles or so? |

do you think the 1k interval of the airfilter made a 15rwtq difference? the guy is supposed to call me today with a time if there is a spot open so im just waiting and trying to figure out if it goes wrong again, what can it be.

another thing i found interesting from a forum member, One consideration: fuel pump (not the HPFP, but the other one) is in the tank, and it is cooled by the gasoline in the tank. Low or no fuel ==> overheated fuel pump. Boom?.
i had low fuel on my 2nd dyno run about 50 miles left. could that be the cause of the low #s? |

You are racking your brain for no reason .... My dyno shows 273 whp with the SS exhaust. What you are trying to correct is the difference between the baseline and the dyno after the SS install. You are assuming the baseline is correct, but if your baseline is wrong from the start, you will never have correct numbers. You are getting 12 to 13 whp with that exhaust ... you may just have to accept that.
