Cheapest(Free?) upgrade for base audio..

After recently upgrading from a relatively base model with Logic 7 at least E90 into a nice E92, I realized i downgraded to BASE audio with CIC. This isn't cutting it for me as I love to listen to tunes a little turned up. Never had an issue with the L7 system but with the windows open and stereo turned up I can tell its only a matter of time before these speakers blow.

I believe I have option 609 for Nav System Professional, but other than that I'm not sure what other options I have regarding the CIC/Audio systems. I know it's base as i don't have any tweeters or center speaker.

What to do? Not in the market to really 'upgrade' at this current time but if i absolutely have to i will in the future. I've read the audio sticky's but i get confused in there without any audio experience besides cranking up the volume

All help is appreciated.

you're gonna have to upgrade the front stage. I recommend:
buy hifi or tophifi 8" woofers (eBay?) - preferably in housing as base housing is shallower
window sails ~30 each
Mids and tweets - your choice, see the speaker thread in the sticky

You'll also need an amp XD600/6 would be one of most cost effective drop ins. I think it would be well worth it to get on the Bimmertech p82DSP group buy though.

It won't be free it would help if

It won't be free it would help if you gave the year of the car and the country
you are in at least.
Do a vin check with one of the free BMW vin checkers to
see what options you actually have.
If you are not willing to DIY and learn what you have it will be real expensive.
We have seen people do a decent upgrade for aournd 700 minamum for equipment
but a realistic price for the good stuff would be more like 1500 to 2500.
You will need a Technic harness or something like it to add and amp or amp/dsp to that
system.

The car is a 2010 335 production 1/2010 I believe with Nav 609 Professional. I also have the Sirius module built in. Bluetooth phone and USB 6FL. Also have other BMW tidbits like BMW Online services and such that I see in the idrive menus.

I have no problem DIY, if I can build a motor I can figure out some audio stuff. I just don't know what my options are.

Ideally, something equivalent to L7 would be fine for me. I don't need all the extra bells and whistles. I really enjoyed the L7 system in my previous car.

One of the better things going as mentioned above

One of the better things going as mentioned above
is the Helix82dsp and one of the three way plug and play
speaker kits. I think that will beat the L7 by quite a bit
for clarity and impact.
There are many examples in the threads I listed.
Best to become familiar with the systems and possibilitys
first.

The basic upgrade

other amps and speakers or dsp/amps can be substituted
one of the best things going is a Jehnert 3 way speaker set and a Helix 82dsp
since the helix has dsp a re code is not needed or a cleansweep .
