A wise man once said there is nothing wrong about a punch of strangers showing off their horns to others. Maybe someone will start a thread about these in the clip section and we can all post ours.

In my experience, in a cold start all horns seems quite insignificant, it takes time yo get them to working temperatures.

I'd say this is a matter of proper insulation and trying to avoid competition out of our league. To any rookie, I would recommend a secluded place with little audience. A parking garage at night perhaps. I'd make sure the fueling is done right, and the lubrication levels are according to the iDrive optimal. In any case to boost up confidence, it is important to have the maximum effect an echo can provide, so a garage should provide a good setting. From personal experience, it seems most horns are bound to work better with a little aggression. I'd suggest the op pictures a really horn worthy situation before honking.

Really? That sounds like a bad advice, stains don't come off in low temperatures.

Ah, you're right naturally. Clearly you are the master of horns and my inexperience is showing here too much.

Yeah, but I upgraded the exhaust system and now I use that instead of the horn. It makes more vibrations which provides more results.

You are clearly the master here. I also enjoy the exhaust system vibrations, but I notice that if I do not honk the horn from time to time it starts to honk itself at inconvenient times (like when I am trying to sleep). Do you know of a workaround for this glitch?

Park and ride parking lots. Take the trouble maker there and walk home.

Well, personally since there's no other cars, I do like to honk it on purpose until it uses up enough power.
