Insane nurburgring crash!

Warning, contains strong language.

Holy cow! The guy is lucky not to be killed as I bet he has no roll cage. Posted up yesterday.

I seen the footage filmed from outside the car.

It was a huge accident. I must say the car did much better than I thought. Wild driving though.

My god, so lucky no one was injured!?

I nipped at that brow first lap round there as a passenger, you're coming into that point at fair rate of knots!

I'd hate to think what the bills were like for that. For both ring and car.

French cars. Theyre not meant to be driven fast. Beside that the driver aimed straight into the guard rail. No steering movements at all. Glad no one crashed into the parked cars. Not wise to stop right behind the hilltop.

There is a bigger picture. A 3rd, slower car moved to overtake the camera car forcing the soon-to-be airborne Renault onto the grass.
There was a bit of a story behind it on btg.

Crazy to think the only injury was a smashed thumb.

Oh that's unlucky! Is there any footage of the car getting in the way?

Watch the flying Megane. Once everything slows down you will see a white Clio (?) come into view behind the camera car. It was this one apparently.

I was hoping the Megane itself would have a dash cam or someone behind. Maybe in a few days. Can't imagine the Megane driver would feel like posting

It's been a week now. If there was anything else I think it would have surfaced by now.
Due to the many crashes last weekend, this has faded into the grey.

I think the Renault has racing seats/harness? Probably what saved his life!
