My symptom on 328xi 2008 was P sign on dash disappeared. Also there is a "BREAK" and DCS sign. Car doesn't start. Thinking steering angle sensor I turned wheels all the way right, then left,signs still present.
No any R,N,D or M signs on dashboard. I started to find that issue on steptronic. After removing wires with help of T10 screw,there was not any broken wire,but it helped me to get light for DS since that light did not turn beforehand. I cut and check all 8 "pinched" wires with Multi meter and all are working. Only observed that cylindric shit was hot there wich stays in end. Still can not bring P sign to dash screen and therefore I can not start my car. I checked all fuses,even removed ECU, disconnected the battery several times,no result. Did some adapdation for transmission,like 26 sec and etc did not help. Please help me.

You need to read the car diagnosis with a tester. There might be a failure inside the gearbox or software related, and the gearbox stays in safe mode, until troubleshooted.
