e93 Allowance?
Was curious if anyone knew if the allotments for e93, e92, e90 were separated for each dealer?
In other words, does each dealer get a fixed number of cars they can order for e93, e92, etc? or is it "3 series" = X cars / month? I'm asking because I've heard some people get their cars within two months, and I've waited close to 4 months!!!:mad0259 : |

Others more knowledgeable may be able to provide better info, but it is my understanding that individual dealers are indeed provided initial allocations by vehicle type (E90, E91, E92, E93, etc.). But that is still adjustable by swapping cars either on the lot or in their allocations with other local dealers.
Specific options then can be applied against each car in their order allocation by build week, thus allowing the dealer to configure a car to a customer's specific requirements. The earlier that dealer has an available open order for your vehilce type in the manufacturing allocation, the sooner you will get your car. Some are booked further out than others. If you ordered a car from a dealer, though, you should have been given a specific order number, corresponding to a specific manufacturing week, which you can then track on your own. If you didn't, then you should go back and insist on the dealer providing this information to you.
