2011 328xi AE as DRL with Carly help..yes I have searched

I read so many posts on this and I'm no clearer.

I have tried every combo with Carly and I can't get the AE's to work alone. If I put the light switch on parking lights then they work, but I don't won't to mess around switching it on every time I drive.

Please help, this is getting really frustrating

I asked a service advisor the same thing and he told me it can't be done. I can get either the angel eyes with the low beams or just the eyes with the tail lights. So I'm stuck with the tail lights and have to turn them on to the parking switch position. I could never find a way to turn off the low beams in the 2 left switch positions.
