17 inch rims

I have a 2010 335d with sport package. I want to fit the widest tires possible while staying with 17 inch rims. I also am unwilling to spend more than $325 per rim. I would like to avoid using spacers and/or fender mods. I am currently running a 225 255 staggered setup but I would consider a square setup if folks feel like that is a superior setup. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

A wide 17" setup sounds awesome! Let us know what you go with.

Look into the 17x9 +30 Apex Arc8s. Depending on your suspension setup, you should be able to fit them on your car with 255/40s with no issue.

I was hoping to get something fatter on the rears staying with a 17. Don't know about you guys but physics dictates staying with 17s.

That said the 17/9 et31 Apex Arc 8s at 16.5 lbs per wheel in a square setup w/255s is pretty damn nice

You could run the 17x9.5 with 265s in the back, but you may need to roll your fenders.

You can also run the aforementioned setup in the front too, but not without camber and/or fender modification.

Is your suspension stock?

My suspension is stock. That said, I am running Koni FSDs, M3 control arms, and delrin /aluminum subframe bushings. Cars is not lowered. Toying with installing Ohlin coilovers.

What is involved with rolling the fenders?

Fender rolling prices vary. Depends on if you'd like to DIY or have it done professionally. There's local shops that charge $20 a fender.

To DIY, you'd need a heat gun, legit fender roller (or substitute with bat or rolling pin), and time. There's plenty of threads and vids showing how to fender roll.
