Vessel Courage-Departing 11/19/07

I was just doing some Christmas shopping. While I was sitting a light, I saw a Montego Blue 335i coupe make a left turn in front of me with dealer plates on.

I had to order a Montego blue 335i coupe because there wasn't a single one in the area. Now I'm thinking, I hope that wasn't my baby and my dealership is just pulling my chain. Thinking they are just gonna have some fun with it and hold the sale till the new year. Am I just paranoid or what?!?

Oh well, if I get it with a bunch of miles on it. I'm just gonna bitch and moan till I get invoice price.

I can't imagine why they would hold the sale. Don't most dealers like to squeeze as many cars in as possible at the end of the year? Plus I'm sure the CA wants his commission.

I could tell my dealer was trying to make sure we closed the deal this year by telling me that "the December lease rates are so good they can't be any better in January." I just laughed inside when I figured out what he was trying to do. Oh well... I had planned on doing the deal in December anyway.

Why don't you drive over to your dealer and see if you can find it on the lot and then compare the VIN to your VIN?

Sorry it took me so long to post, but I picked her up yesterday about 1 and I freaking love it!!

My dealer is awesome! A+ class service and they knew the car backwards and forwards. My sales guy pulled one over on me. He calls me about 11:30 asking when I was stopping by to pick up the car. I just happened to be in route so I told him would be there in about 10-15 minutes. He kind of pauses and goes... "ok... well... we have something to go over when you get here." I tried to get it out of him but he said he'd explain better when I got there. I arrive and I am scowering the lot for my car and I did not see any sparkling graphite cars on the lot. My sales guy comes out and I ask him where the car was. He asks if I would mind coming inside for a moment cause there was an issue. I am like f-ing great. I walk in the showroom and there is my car with a big red bow!! My girlfriend said I had the biggest smile on my face! Here are some pics...

Congratulations! Not only is the car beautiful, but you're also picking it up in short sleeves on a sunny day. Damn.

Sounds like your CA totally rocked. The red bow is a great touch!

hi everyone - i picked my car up on mon 12/10 and have been enjoying it ever since!!!! i love it

and have gotten so many compliments. it is also 1/2 alpine white ones that came over on the courage that are on the eastern united states that are available according to my CA! bought it from Northwest BMW in Owings Mills, MD and would recommend it totally!! i gave them all 5's on my BMW customer survey! life is good...

Sorry for the delay, I've been out driving

Couldn't be happier with the end result. I dropped off the car in Munich on 11/8, it was ready for delivery on 12/17, I picked it up on 12/20. Here's a couple of quick pics, I'll wait for a decent sunny day to get some good pics.

Picked up my car just a few hours ago. I went staight to the dealership from the airport after spending my week in Cancun. Couldn't stand the thought of waiting till Monday to pick her up. I will post picks when I get a chance.

It certainly seemed like an eternity :-) ...but in retrospect 5 weeks from dropoff to the car being ready for redelivery wasn't bad at all.
