The worst that can happen is a warning light regarding the adaptive suspension of the car is equipped with DHP.
Hmmmm... I thought with the DHP or Adaptive Suspension the auto dampening struts were completely integrated into the suspension's assembly. Happy to know that they're just regular strut assemblies that can be removed. I don't mind an error message, I can always have that sensor coded out. Thanks for the info.

There are F30 drivers with the adaptive dampers that have switched to aftermarket springs and liked the outcome.

The adaptive part of the system are the dampers.
They have electro-mechanically adjustable valves to control damping for compression and rebound.
It doesn't appear that the spring and damper are 1 integrated unit.
