Like finding a needle in a haystack...

Evening all,

Currently tearing what's left of my hair out trying to find an E90 Msport Airbag to go with a wheel I nought off of a user from here.

I've tried eBay but seen very little. Can anybody help?! Feel as though I'll never be able to get my new wheel on at this rate!

Hmm, were they suitable for the E90 from 2010? Only found 4 or so when I looked earlier?

Maybe try ringing round breakers that list a whole car rather than the individual parts.

there are loads on ebay starting at about 140£

the Msport airbag didnt change throughout the E90 production, so it doesnt have to be a 2010 version, any Msport airbag from an E90/91/92/93 will work.

Thanks for the help so far guys. Icekube, what year could I go back to? I thought the 2006 airbag was different?

there are 2 airbags on the E90 platform

you have the early SE spec airbag that looks like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airbag-Dri...item58c817f339

and then you have Msport and later SE airbags:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-1-3-X1...item3f513a0e08

you want one that looks like the second link, any E9x airbag that looks like that (round instead of angular) will work

I'm in Scotland mate, could do if you're in Glasgow or Edinburgh? Would also be prepared to pay for courier if you aren't local?

Complete wheel and airbag and then sell the wheel off.

Unfortunately sold mate, wee bit outside of the price range at the moment as well as trying to fix my house up as well so couldn't wait on selling the wheel.

Thanks for looking though!

Good evening all...

Back with a new request! Got the airbag from Jamz which was top notch. However, I appear to be missing a screw for the bottom faceplate which I can't seem to locate. I don't suppose anybody would be able to source one? My local breakers doesn't have any unfortunately.

Picture attached; left hand side next to the wiring where the screw is missing.

Just get one from the dealers... a screw/bolt is not going to cost much...

So...I'm back again...I went to my local BMW dealership and after a clueless technician went back and forth between the service manager and I, they ordered my bolt!

Excellent! Or not. They ordered the wrong one, essentially I think because they were using my reg plate instead of just following what I was asking.

So now I'm back again to see if anybody has either a spare wheel they could donate this bolt from, or let me borrow their reg plate so I can try and order the right one!

Realoem doesn't clearly show that bolt.

Why not just take one of the other 2 out and take it to your local motor factors and find a replacement. It doesn't need to be a BMW bolt or even the same head providing it does the job.
