Smile E93 alternative speaker locations

Hi there

I got a big story about my speaker upgrade but in summary , I did the hifi upgrade and then replaced the subs earthquakes with a new amp just to power the subs . But the setup is lacking mid base . So I have two spare outputs for base from the hifi amp which I can use . But the e93 is very tight for space in the cabin .

Question . Anyone know of location in the cabin where I can put two 6 inch midbase speakers . I looked at the kick panels and under glovebox and steering wheel but no luck . I also want to keep my ski hatch free as I use it quite often .

It's well worth it.

You can't get someone to work a fiber glass custom enclosure for any cheaper and still get the amount of speakers in there. Unless I'm mistaken, it's even more so for the e92 & e93, since the longer doors allow you to keep one set of the pockets. I have an e90 so the 4 doors are relatively shorter. I lost all the pockets in the front.

I wanted an install with zero trunk space taken and in my opinion, it's the only option and the best one. I believe I posted a thread a year or two ago with pictures of the install.

I see 8x 6" speakers but only place for 6 (3 in each door), where do the last 2 go? Then there's 2 4" in the original location I believe, plus the tweeters fro the pillars.

The other two 6.5" speakers go under the seats. There's a lot of punch with this setup. My only critique for it, is that it's soooo hard for an amateur like me to use a dsp to set the proper delays and soundstage for it.
