Evolution Racewerks N54 Competition Front Mount Intercooler Upgrade Kit
This Brand new FMIC kit from Evolution Racewerks comes complete and ready to bolt onto your car. Evolution Racewerks has designed a vastly improved front mount intercooler over the stock unit. It cools the intake air more than the stock unit for more power but the biggest improvement is the resistance to heatsoak. The stock intercooler quickly absorbs heat (heatsoak), which kills the efficiency and reduces power. ER’s unit is able to keep the charge air cool for much longer under hard use, which maintains higher power levels. The kit also includes an aluminum chargepipe, which is much more durable than the stock plastic unit that often fails due to age and increased boost pressures. The charge pipe includes meth injection ports so you have the option to run a meth injection kit to make even more power. The full system is black hard anodized, which increases the strength and durability of the intercooler fins, while helping with the stealth look. This is the loaded package with intercooler, charge pipe with meth injection bungs, carbon shroud, and black hard anodizing. This setup is specifically designed for 2006-2009 335i models. Sorry for not specifying, this has a flange for a Synapse BOV, which is not included.
