They fit the other guys car. Say if my motor was a few mm higher I could center the long pipe and maybe make it work . Could it just be the wear and tear that's not allowing it in?

Any thoughts on the heat wrap around the downpipe and exhaust flanges to prevent clinking ?

It's just going to rub through the heat wrap, definitely only a temporary solution.
Contact the seller and get a refund, it will save you a lot of headaches in the future. You can always use paypal to help you get a refund if the seller isn't being cooperative. |

I don't know if I want to do that, the pipes were a good price (280) and seller was nice. I think I might just have to give a little love taps with a hammer. Another thing I could do is take the short pipe to an exhaust shop and have them bend the second to last weld near the exhaust 1/4" Or I could shove a few layers of heat wrap between the pipe ,maybe loop it around the whole thing a few times to reduce vibration travel. I don't know i just want to make this work.

I got a shop to slightly bend it and now have about 4mm of clearance between them .I'm pretty sure this will still clink . How long have you had it like this? Did you just wedge some between it or wrap around ?
