Metallic is easier to maintain, jet black will show swirls and whatnot very easily. Some people prefer the deeper black look of a well cared for jet black car, while others like a bit of metallic sheen which is especially visible under artificial light.

Congratulations on your new car; I know it's exciting know it's coming...for just a teeny little bit of perspective, it took me until I was 41 to afford a BMW and I just love it.

If you can't track your new 335 you're getting new at 16, you're doing great in life!

I know from experience that at 16, you hate to get free advice from geezers who don't know anything, but for heavens sake keep a cool head at all times while driving your car...it's a lot of car and it would be pretty easy to end up in a tragic wreck.

Congrats to the new car. Do be greatful for a great opportunity and the great life that you get to live. I do get quite a bit of grief for being so young and living the life I do (bought a house last year when I turned 23 and now the E92 335 for this Christmas). Don't let that put you off, do however keep a cool, collected, and humble mind.

Congrats on your your new ride little man. At 16 all I had was a brand new 1991 mustang GT. And to me that was the best ride i had at the time. To bad some piece of shit stole it 2 years later. Oh well at least the bastard crashed really bad while joy riding. From what I heard from the cops he had 2 broken legs....1 broken arm and a broken collar bone.

.

Metallic in the sun will look fairly different than JB. I like jet black personally better.

Call the dealer who sold you the car. They can find out where the car is

What your CA said -- keep trying. The owner's circle is stuck in the medieval ages. Imagine what a few of us E90posters could do to liven it up!

congrats man, that is a pretty sweet ride for a 16yr old, should have no problems picking up the girls with that thing. My first ride was a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a big chrome bumper that wouldnt dent no matter what I hit. Definately be careful though, I remember blowing up an engine on my mothers pontiac bonneville at 16 and telling her the reason it happened was because she bought an american car (she now drives a bmw)

Congratulations. You seem like a respectful and appreciative young man. I hope you enjoy your new ride. Please remember that with great cars comes greater responsibility so do take care. Don't turn into one of those buttwipes that are born on 3rd base and think they hit a triple.

Hey by the way if your dad is looking to adopt someone in their thirties have him PM me
